Sebastian is a graduate of Fort Street High School (2016), where he studied Extension I and II English, Advanced Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry and Drama. Having enjoyed English and Economics at school, he decided to study arts and economics at the University of Sydney, majoring in political economy and econometrics. He is passionate about the way in which data and new technologies transform our political and economic landscape, which he believes is at the core of our data-saturated world. At university, he also enjoys subjects in philosophy and mathematics.
Sebastian is a firm believer that a collaborative process between a tutor and student is necessary to empower students toward their own educational development, and regularly leaves sessions having learnt as much as he has taught.
Outside of working and studying, Sebastian loves training at Muay Thai, learning computer programming, and playing the cello, guitar and piano.
